Roy Moores grew up in Richmond and attended EKU. His classmate, Charles Robinson, remembers playing intramural basketball and handball with Roy. He and Roy made sandwiches and sold them in Sullivan Hall to raise extra money. Roy served in Korea but died in a automobile accident while home on leave.
