National Roll Call 2019

The National Roll Call project is a national grassroots effort to make Veterans Day on every campus a special time of appreciation and reflection.  The 2019 National Roll Call honors those who have served and are serving, as well as the fallen.

First, agree to participate in a nationwide, simultaneous “minute of silence” at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, on Monday, November 11th. Pacific Standard Time is used so that this can be a truly nationwide event.  Make your participation official by completing the Roll Call Pledge at

Second, conduct a Roll Call of names as determined by an internal committee at your school. For the Roll Call, you may read names of those living or deceased, of any or all eras of service, and as many or as few names as you desire. The structure, duration, and setting of your ceremony is entirely up to your school, with the only requirement being that there be some Roll Call activity.

For schools who would like to honor those who served in the OEF/OIF conflicts, an updated list of names of the fallen will be provided on or around November 1, 2019.
